On Tuesday morning we did some BEAR exercises. It is a modified exercise from Crossfit where it is done with olympic lifts.
Basically we do a dead hang clean with the Kettlebell, straight into a squat. From the squat we do a squat press. Once the Kettlebell is above the head we do an overhead squat. Return to the rack. That is one rep on one side.
Tuesday's workout we did 8 reps per side and we did 6 sets.
BEARS challenge the legs as well as the CORE, arms and upper body. It ALSO challenges the cardio vascular system in such a way that you WILL burn fat for the next 24 to 36 hours - just from ONE workout.
